Anonymous Money Audit™
Real numbers.Real people.
You likely have never seen inside of anyone else's money. Not your neighbor's. Not your best friend's. Not the family whose vacations look effortless. You see the outside and find yourself continually wondering how everyone else has this all figured out.

Why we created this
We thought we would do something fun.
We started the Anonymous Money Audit (aka the AMA), as a series to open that door. Each week we choose one person who has anonymously shared their full financial situation, and we dive in to see what we might strategize, recommend, and change if we could sit down in person and help them with their money.
In this series we review all the parts of your money. The income, debt, spending, savings, everything you are proud of and even the parts you might be avoiding. Then we give honest feedback about what we see. What's working, what's holding you back, and most importantly, what to do next. Every audit is shared on YouTube and Instagram, and we hope you'll come along for the ride. Or maybe even submit your numbers and be one of the featured stories! Wouldn't it be cool to see what we would recommend for you? Well, here's your chance!
Have you ever wondered
What would a professional say if she could see everything?
That question sits in the back of most people's minds. Am I doing this right? Am I behind? Is there something obvious I am missing that I cannot see because I am too close to it?
In this series, you get an answer. Sometimes the answer is that you are further along than you thought and you can stop white knuckling it. Sometimes it is a handful of specific moves that free up money you did not know you had. Either way, you can stop guessing.
When you submit your scenario for an AMA, you get a chance to have:
- A trained set of eyes on your whole financial picture. Not one bill at a time, but everything together, the way it actually works in your life.
- Your opportunities for change. We walk through your financial scenario and identify the places we think you have an opportunity for improvement, things to consider, and the questions we would be asking if we were sitting down together.
- Honest feedback, never a lecture. No shame about past decisions. Just what to keep doing, what to change, and where to start this month.
And if you are one of those nosy voyeurs
It turns out almost nobody has it figured out.
We compare ourselves to a version of other people's finances that does not exist. The new car in the driveway tells you nothing about the loan behind it. The trip tells you nothing about the credit card balance waiting for them when they get home, or the balance they will be paying off for the next six months.
When you watch an audit, you get to see the whole picture. We pull back the curtain on what it really looks like inside someone else's financial life. The income that looks great until you see the fixed costs. The couple who feels broke and is actually building. The progress nobody posts about. The exact same worries you have been carrying on your own.
There is something that happens when you get to see the inside of someone else's finances and realize you are not so far off, not so alone, and not so behind. It shatters the facade that everyone else has it all figured out. You borrow the ideas that fit your life, take the ones that make sense for your situation, and make one better decision at a time. Watching someone else get audited is the least intimidating financial education there is, because for once you are not the one on the spot.

No name, no email, no phone number. If your audit is selected, it is published only as a case ID like AMA-001. Nothing in your submission points back to you, so you can be fully honest.

Your numbers get walked through line by line. We look at what is working, what might be costing you, and what opportunities might exist for you. You leave with specific things to try, and everyone watching learns from your situation too.

Go ahead, peek behind the curtain
Yes, we know you are nosy. Here is your chance to see what is really happening inside other people's money. Maybe some of these will feel familiar. Maybe you will relate. And you can always take the recommendations we make inside these AMAs and apply them to your own life too.
Anonymity, spelled out
What we do with your information
- We never collect your name. No name, no email, no phone number, no address. There is nothing in a submission that points back to you.
- Your case ID is the only label. If your audit is featured, it is published under something like AMA-001, never under a name.
- Submitting means consenting. By submitting, you agree your numbers and what you wrote may be discussed publicly in a Wealth Like This™ audit, always anonymously.
